It’s Wills Week 2022 – and this year the Public Trustee, Queensland Law Society and RSPCA have joined forces to encourage Queenslanders to have those all-important conversations about who will care for our loved ones after we are gone.
We know discussions about advance life planning can be confronting at the best of times. This year we are hoping to break down some of those barriers by encouraging people to think about the issue through the eyes of their beloved pets. The campaign is designed to raise awareness and encourage people to talk to their loved ones about preparing and updating their Will and EPA.
The Queensland Law Society and Public Trustee are also partnering to deliver information webinars to talk about what’s involved and why people should consider making their advance life planning a priority.
The Public Trustee recommends seeking help from a legal professional to make a Will and EPA by visiting the ‘Find a Solicitor’ page on the Queensland Law Society website.
We hope you will join us in sharing this year’s campaign with friends, family and colleagues so that we can encourage all Queenslanders to continue the love – by making a Will.
